It’s always fun when our community has an opportunity to cross with another passionate community, and this Retro 1 “Spider-Man/ Next Chapter” release was one of those instances.
Nike brought their design team to put their twist on the Miles Morales action, by releasing the brand new Air Jordan 1 High Next Chapter shoe. Inspired by the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie, these kicks gave a fresh twist to the ones rocked by the legendary Michael Jordan during his Chicago Bulls days. The sneaker's design has various leathers and suedes with either red accenting or Spider-Man-inspired details.
We wanted to keep that energy that a FCFS release normally offers, but we also wanted to be cautious of the safety of our patrons so we released this coveted pair by live raffle. We had over 50 participants ready to start the raffle and every winner that came up called the next winner.
Creating space to creativity and community will remain the goal as we continue to create impactful experiences for our activation patrons.
For added flare, one of our employees dressed up as Spider-Man, and it was a great photo opt for customers and their children who doubled as sneaker enthusiasts and comic fans.
